Thursday recess Life Skills is a new iniciative for High School students.

Its objetive is to teach them life skills that will be helpful for them in real life situations. Every Thursday during recess, students have to option to sing up to different activities in the areas of house and car maintenance, finances, cooking, business, etc. The purpose of our first workshop was to learn how to change a flat tire. Next workshops will include: sewing a missing button, meal prep cooking, introduction to credit cards and housing loans, and house maintenance basics.
